Experiencing sexual abuse, assault, or any other form of trauma can leave you feeling isolated, fragmented, and alone. It can be difficult to find ways to connect with your body and mind in a healthy way. In additional to the emotional and psychological effects of trauma, your life experiences can also lead to physical symptoms and dis-ease resulting in anxiety, over reactivity, explosive outbursts, depression or inability to make confident decisions.

The practice is a gentle and supportive approach that takes into account your history and current experiences. It helps you to build resilience and strength, and to find peace in your body and mind.
The 6-week Cultivate your Ashes into Beauty Program is designed for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, just like me, who are ready to reclaim their your bodies and their lives. This program is NOT about setting anyone back by telling and retelling our stories. Rather, it entails weekly virtual Zoom sessions where we'll meet as a group for a discussion, yoga (no experience necessary), and healing work (including journaling , worksheets , and mantras). Each session starts off with the topic of discussion, 30-45 minutes of gentle yoga practice and 10-15 minutes of reflection time which could be group reflection or journaling.
Trauma informed yoga is a gentle, safe, and effective way to process and heal from trauma. This 6-week yoga program is designed for survivors of all types of trauma, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. The program is based on the principles of mindfulness and self-compassion, and will help you to connect with your body and mind, and to cultivate self-compassion and resilience. In this safe and supportive environment, you will be able to connect with other survivors and explore your body and mind with the aim of healing and moving forward with your life in joy-filled confidence.

Yoga 45 minutes theme: inner Child / heart chakra
Week 4
Yoga 45 minutes : Body awareness Stand in your Power / body empowerment

Yoga 45 minutes Stand in your Power / body empowerment Week: Yoga 45 minutes : Connection- surround yourself with like minded people ! Breakout group activity
Week 6
Yoga 60 minutes : Liberation honesty truth / Reflections .
